Asia Padel Academy

In 2023, padel’s popularity surged in Manila. As the pioneer of the sport in the Philippines, Manila Padel Club approached me to design their logo and brand identity.

I successfully captured their vision on the first attempt, with the exception of the blue tone. They requested a lighter shade, closer to the sport’s official color. The overall concept for the logo was to convey boldness and solidity through the font choice, while incorporating a slightly academic or studious feel for the “Academy” element. To represent the fast-paced nature of padel, I utilized an italic font style. The design also prominently features a padel racket and ball.

Following the logo design, I was commissioned to create their website. Instead of overwhelming the site with the brand colors, I opted to use them as accents against a clean, predominantly white background. This approach aimed to project an image of sophistication, sportiness, and corporate professionalism. The dynamic particle effects seen in the website banners were a specific request from one of the sport’s ambassadors.
